Our project stand at the Master Hall of the Fair will be open during the entire duration of this year’s biggest agricultural exhibition in the country, where the representatives of the Veterinary Department, as well as representatives of the Project will continually offer information to visitors on current project activities and project results achieved so far.

14 May 2015 – Forum Veterinary compensation fund at the Agricultural Fair in Novi Sad

At the Fair’s Master Congress centre, our project will organize a public – private sector panel on the 14th May 2015, starting at 10.00am. The panel will deal with the preliminary draft of the Veterinary compensation fund concept. Hence consultations with the interested parties on possible directions and guidelines for further development will follow.

The panel will start with outlining the project objectives, including the draft concept of Veterinary Compensation Fund, eradication of classical swine fever and oral vaccination against rabies, continuing with a working session dedicated to dealing with infectious diseases and preservation of livestock, achieving greater economic benefits and stability for the country and the individuals and organizations involved in the breeding and trading of domestic animals.

EU funded project “Capacity Building for the Development of the National Compensation Fund for the control of infectious animal diseases and other services” provides the necessary technical support to the Veterinary Directorate of the Serbian Ministry of Agriculture regarding establishment of the Compensation Fund in the Republic of Serbia.
