Study tour in Romania within the EU project ”Capacity Building of the Institute for Intellectual Property through the Establishment of Information-educational Centers of the Institute”

Within the EU project “Capacity Building of the Institute for Intellectual Property through the Establishment of Information-educational Centers of the Institute”,  study tour has been organized from 6 to 9 July 2015 to OSIM (Oficiul De Stat Pentru Invenţii Şi Mărci) Romania.

Study tour concept and program for OSIM Romania was built upon the two objectives:

1.      Analysis of patent granting procedure and IT oriented patent information tools.

2.      Improving functionality and sustainability of Information-Educational Centers.

The  staff of Institute of Intellectual property from Bosnia and Herzegovina  had the opportunity to learn more about;  Patent Granting Procedures in Romania, Federated Register and Publication Server, Publication Procedure and back Office Services. The role and responsibilities of Information-Educational Centres in OSIM, has been presented to attendants, their vision and network development.

This study tour provided great experience exchange between colleagues and valuable inputs for establishment of Information-Educational Centres within the Institute .
