Project description: The overall objective of the project are education and training reforms, including the area of preschool education, supported in line with the needs of the labour market.The purpose of this contract is to continue preschool education system reforms in order to enable a constructive start to lifelong learning.

Position: Key expert 2: Expert for preschool education

Key expert 2 will be responsible for coordination, organization and implementation of activities related to strengthening professional competences to implement modern pedagogical approaches and new PCF; preparation the staff in pre-school institutions for quality inclusive pre-school education; preparation the legislative framework on national and local level.
Number of working days for period of 24 months is approximately 360, or approximately 180 per year. Minimum of 90% of working days will be utilized in the beneficiary country, actively working on the project activities and with the staff of the Beneficiary Institution

Qualification and skills

• A level of education which corresponds to completed university studies of at least 3 years in social sciences or, alternatively, 8 years of professional experience in the fields of this service contract (in addition to the number of years of professional experience required under the minimum requirement for general professional experience);
• Master/PhD would be considered an advantage.

General professional experience

• At least 8, preferably 10 years of professional experience in the field of preschool education;

Specific professional experience

• At least 5, preferably 7 years of professional experience in developing and/or implementing preschool programs in preschool education;
• Experience in working with government institutions and/or other stakeholders at national level on issues related to preschool education reforms would be considered an advantage.
