Project description: The overall objective of the project are education and training reforms, including the area of preschool education, supported in line with the needs of the labour market.The purpose of this contract is to continue preschool education system reforms in order to enable a constructive start to lifelong learning.

Position: Key expert 1/ Team Leader

Key expert 1 in the same time will be team leader and key expert on the project. As a team leader she or he will be responsible for the overall coordination and implementation of this contract, such as cooperation with Contracting Authority and the Beneficiary Institution; establishing the working procedures and communication with the beneficiaries; supervising the project

Number of working days for period of 24 months is approximately 370, or approximately 185 per year. Minimum of 90% of working days will be utilized in the beneficiary country, actively working on the project activities and with the staff of the Beneficiary Institution.

Qualification and skills

  • A level of education which corresponds to completed university studies of at least 3 years in social sciences or, alternatively, 8 years of professional experience in the fields of this service contract (in addition to the number of years of professional experience required under the minimum requirement for general professional experience) ;
  • Master/PhD would be considered an advantage.

General professional experience

  • At least 10, preferably 15 years, of professional experience in the field of education ;

Specific professional experience

  • At least 7, preferably 10 years of professional experience in developing and/or implementing strategies related to preschool education;
  • At least 2, preferably 4 years of experience in leading team(s) in public or private sector or donor funded projects;
  • Experience in working with government institutions and/or other stakeholders at national level on issues related to education reforms would be considered an advantage.
