Project description
The overall objective of the project is to improve policy and legislation processes at the central level in view of accelerating Serbia’s preparation for EU accession.
It aims at improving the current system for legal approximation process and the level of harmonization of the national legislation with the EU acquis, thus contributing to a fundamental element of the EU integration process.
Specific objectives of the project are as follows:
- Improvement of the current system of legal harmonization and approximation with EU legislation;
- Support the development of national legislation aligned with the acquis;
- Ensure proper implementation of the legislation, including the necessary by-laws and enforcement mechanisms.
The Project is funded by the European Union and implemented from July 2013 until December 2015. ECG forms part of a Consortium led by DMI Associates Ltd, and partners include Altair Asesores S.L., Human Dynamics, and INCOM Ltd.
