Project description

This project aims at raising the capacity building of the Institute for Intellectual Property of BIH through the establishment of three Informational – Educational Centres (IECs) of the Institute, provided to be set up within and following the distributi0n of the structure of the Institute. These IEC’s will offer a significant support to the users of IP system in Bosnia and Herzegovina by offering them a whole range of  high level and well defined support and services with the clear goal of increasing the level of “IP culture” in Bosnia and Herzegovina for the general benefit of innovation in this country and meeting thus the criteria of international agreements signed by this country in the field or related to Intellectual Property.

Result 1: Information-educational centers at the lnstitute’s headquarters in Mostar and at Sarajevo and Banja Luka branch office operational.

Result 2: Raised awareness on industrial property in accordance with obligations under the SM and the TRIPS.
