Training cycle for the 1,500 civil servants at all levels held in BiH

Banja Luka, June 2015 – Within the EU funded project “Training in Administrative Procedures in BiH”,training cycle for the planned 1,500 civil servants at all levels in BiH (BiH, RS, FbiH and Brčko District BiH), consisted of administrative procedures managers and public administration inspectors, was successfully completed on 11th June in Banja Luka. Overall, there was 66 groups with avarege of 20 participants per group, who attended the interactive trainings for six days, in the period from March 17, 2014 – June 11, 2015, and had the opportunity to hear the best practices in the implementation of the Law on Administrative Procedures. Participants pointed out in their evaluation that trainings were excellent and well organized.

The aim of this project is to contribute to building an efficient, transparent and service oriented public administration through training of public officials who manage administrative procedures and public administration inspectors at all levels in BiH.

The EU funded this project in the amount of 700.050 EUR from IPA 2012. The project started in November 2013 and will last until August 2015. The project is implemented by a consortium led by the European Consulting Group from Belgrade (ECG). The main project partner is the Public Administration Reform Coordinator’s Office (PARCO).
