Moot court simulation, English language test and lectures on the International Public Law marked the fifth training of trainees working with the Free Legal Aid Project.

The trainees participated in various workshops and heard lectures on the International Public Law and the influence of international norms on court litigations in Kosovo and Metohija from the Faculty of Law in Pristina’s docents during the training course organized from July 12- 14, 2017.

Moot court simulation of a litigation and a criminal proceeding, led by the project’s junior and senior legal advisers, contributed to having a better image of court proceedings. Assuming the roles of representatives, plaintiffs and judges, the trainees gained a better insight in individual functions and understanding of tasks of each participant in the proceeding.

Beside the theoretical part and workshops, the trainees took written and oral English language tests since the program of upcoming training courses will include legal English language course.

The training for trainees, as an important part of the program of „Protection and Promotion of Property Rights of Internally Displaces People, Refugees and Returnees Upon Readmission Agreements “project will be continued in September, after a short summer break.
