Project description: With the aim to contribute to the advancement of Serbia’s judicial system and Rule of Law in line with the EU accession requirements, the Project shall enhance the capacities of the sec and the courts, with reference to backlog reduction and prevention, introduction of the ADR and streamlining of the case law harmonisation. This will further strengthen the overall efficiency quality of work, access to justice and transparency of the judicial system in the Republic of Serbia.

Position: Key Expert 2: ADR Expert (min. 440 working days)

Based in Belgrade, Key Expert 2 will provide support to the Team Leader in the overall implementation of the project and will specifically be responsible for ensuring the realization of project activities in Component 1 with the support of short-term specialist experts as appropriate.

The Key Expert in ADR shall, in the absence of the Team Leader, also be in charge of contacts and communication with the Contracting Authority and for communication and negotiation with all key stakeholders.

Qualification and skills

  • A level of education which corresponds to completed university studies of at least 4 years attested by a law degree;
  • A post-graduate degree (Master, PhD) in law will be considered as an asset;
  • Proven experience in the Serbian judicial system would be an advantage
  • Knowledge of Serbian language would be an advantage;

General professional experience
