ECG awarded with two new projects in Bosnia & Herzegovina

The two new projects ‘Strengthening Public Debt Management Capacity’ and ‘Training in Administrative Procedures’ solidify ECG’s presence in Bosnia & Herzegovina and represent the strong expansion throughout the region of the Western Balkans. Alongside the addition of these two new projects to its portfolio in the country, ECG is also currently implementing the project ‘Institutional capacity development of the three innovation centres and research sector in Bosnia and Herzegovina’.

The overall objective of the Project ‘Training in Administrative Procedures’ is to contribute to a reformed, efficient, transparent and service oriented public administration. The specific objective of this contract is to improve through training the knowledge of Managers of administrative procedures and inspectors in public administration at all four administrative levels in BiH (State, Entities and District) about effective supervision of administrative procedures and administrative decision-making processes. The project is valued at EUR 800.000 with a duration of 18 months, and ECG leads a Consortium in partnership with Human Dynamics from Austria.

The project ‘Strengthening Public Debt Management Capacity’ has the objective to improve the efficiency, effectiveness and transparency in the expenditure of public funds through improved public debt management and therefore the capacity of public financial management as a whole. The purpose of the project is to build sustainable capacities in the Debt Management Administration for: financial planning, budget accounting, reporting, and public debt management. The project is valued at EUR 400.000 with a duration of 9 months, and ECG leads the Consortium in partnership with Human Dynamics from Austria.
