Project description:
The overall objective of this project is to address the problem of weak cooperation and dialogue between governments and civil society in Bosnia and Herzegovina and to extend support to inclusive social dialogue and social partners (employees, employers, governments) including in relation to legislation, collective negotiations, assessing the need for new legislation, drafting the laws and monitoring the implementation of reforms.
The purpose of this contract is to ensure that all stakeholders can actively participate in the reform and policy making process, for example by establishing inclusive structured dialogues on reform priorities with the involvement of an empowered civil society.
Position: Key expert 1: Team leader (minimum 350 working days)
Qualification and skills
- Minimum Bachelor Degree in Management or Social Science or as equivalent professional experience of minimum 4 years above the General professional experience fixed below.
General professional experience
- Minimum 10 years of general professional experience.
Specific professional experience
- Minimum 3 years and preferable 7 years of professional experience in capacity building of governments’ institutions in areas of public administration reform or human resource development and/or capacity building of civil society;
- Experience in working on technical assistance projects in former or current IPA countries (Croatia, North Macedonia, Turkey, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Serbia, and Kosovo*) is considered an advantage.
Good command of English (written and spoken), excellent leadership, communication and conflict resolution skills are a pre-requisite for all candidates, as well as good computer skills, including proficiency in word processing.
