Project description

At the moment, we are implementing an EU project titled “Promotion and Protection of Property Rights of IDPs, Refugees and Returnees upon Readmission Agreements” with the purpose to provide legal aid /assistance and of timely and accurate information necessary for IDPs, refugees and returnees subject to readmission agreement (whose place of origin is Kosovo, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia). The project will have 6 work groups in the Republic of Serbia (according to project TOR). We are looking for following team members in Belgrade

Non Key Expert Profiles

Senior Legal Experts

who will be working in these groups to provide legal aid and/or representation to clients in their place of origin.

Profile of Senior Legal Expert

Qualifications and skills:

  • University degree in Law
  • Bar exam or license to represent beneficiaries in front of courts/administrative bodies
  • Working knowledge of English language (min 3 on a scale of 1 to 5; where 1 -excellent and 5 - basic)
  • Good command of Microsoft Office™ tools

General professional experience:

  • At least 5 years, preferably 8 years, of professional experience working in the relevant field

Specific professional experience:

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in civil litigation over disputed property rights or humanitarian law

Junior Legal Experts

who will be working in these groups to provide legal aid and/or representation to clients in their place of origin.

Profile of Junior Legal Expert

Qualifications and skills:

  • University degree in Law
  • Working knowledge of English language (min 3 on a scale of 1 to 5; where 1 -excellent and 5 - basic)
  • Good command of Microsoft Office™ tools

General professional experience:

  • At least 5 years of professional experience within a private law office and/or a law office within a public authority or institution and/or an enterprise

Specific professional experience:

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in civil litigation over disputed property rights or humanitarian law

Legal Trainees

who will be working in these groups to provide legal aid and/or representation to clients in their place of origin.

Profile of legal trainee:

  • University degree in Law
  • No experience required
  • Working knowledge of English language (min 3 on a scale of 1 to 5; where 1 ‐excellent and 5 ‐ basic)
  • Good command of Microsoft Office™ tools

The project is preferably looking for candidates for the post of legal trainee who are originally from Kosovo or Bosnia and Herzegovina or Croatia (according to project TOR)
