Project description

The project will contribute to the effective functioning of the Agency for the Prevention of Corruption and the Coordination of the Fight against Corruption with clear responsibilities and competences with regard to preventing and monitoring corruption. The overall objective of the project is to contribute to the fight against corruption and to effective corruption prevention in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Furthermore, this project should support the institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina to effectively implement the Anticorruption strategies and Action plans in cooperation with Civil Society Organisations (CSO) and business associations.

The purposes of the project are as follows:

• Purpose 1: Strengthening institutional and administrative capacity of the Agency for Corruption Prevention and Coordination of the Fight against Corruption to effectively fight and prevent corruption;
• Purpose 2: Support institutions mandated to combat and prevent corruption on different administrative levels and coordination mechanisms among them, including Civil Society Organisations;
• Purpose 3: Strengthen capacity of the Civil Society Organisations fighting corruption and support their cooperation with public institutions fighting corruption.

The Project is funded by the European Union and implemented from December 2013 until November 2015, by ECG in Consortium with dbb Akademie, Sequa GmbH, and Project 1 EOOD – CSD.
